Do you think that Serbian swimmer Milorad Cavic is rightfully punished?

Cavic, who won gold in 50-meter butterfly and broke European record was suspended for wearing “Kosovo is Serbia” T-shirt on his winner ceremony (written in Serbian in Cyrillic letters). Do you think there are double standards in this decision? Would it be the same if he wore i.e. “Free Tibet”?

This was an absolutely ludicrous decision. By banning Cavic, they ban one of the best contenders for the 100-m event, and as a result skew the result.
It was a T-shirt! which does not condone violence, does not attack an ethnic group nor promotes hatred or any racist connotations.

Patriotism and nationalism are what make the Olympics and other international sporting events so exciting. Shall we now start banning flags, anthems and national symbols?

Why not punish him for the three-finger Serbian salute?? Hey he even had the flag on his swim cap!!

This is a bizarre and most unfortunate double standard which should be condemned by sports fans everywhere.
