I need to know all about the cricut for scrapbooking?

What is the cost? Are there additional things u have to buy to do what it shows on TV? and most of all….. is the item worth the price?

The Cricut is selling for about $180 at Amazon right now. However, I suggest you check with your local scrapbook stores first. They are usually very good at providing assistance and guidance when you are learning to use Your Machine.That is important because the Cricut is an intricate little item. You have to get it set up just right or there will be problems.

And yes, there are other gadgets you need to buy with Your Cricut. First of all, you need cartridges. The cartridges are the designs. They are like software in your computer. A cartridge may contain a set of fonts and a few Basic Shapes, for example, or you could get a cartridge with garden shapes or animal shapes, etc. Cricut Cartridges are expensive,around $60 each. One cartridge may come with your machine when you buy it. Ask and see what’s included.

You also need a cutting matt and a Cutting Blade. One of each probably comes with the Cricut, but they wear out.When they do, you have to replace them.

There are a few other tools you can buy to use with the Cricut, but they are optional. You Must Have the Cutting Mat, blades and of course the cartridges.

As for whether the machine is worth the price, it depends upon how much you intend to use it. If you are an avid scrapbooker or Card Maker, you would probably use it quite a lot.

I don’t use mine very much because I can’t get it working properly. I bought it at Michaels and they do not provide customer support. The company provides very good telephone support but of course the person on the other end of the phone cannot see the machine to know if I have set it up right or not.

These simple environment will give High Quality cuts of 99% time to remember to check that the pulp sheet accumulate, hold clear and clean.
