How to bind a small book with eyelets?
im doing a book for my language arts class and 15 total pages of the front and back paper are also not a hard material that does not know eye to determine how long would the eye have to be? the long loops or extra work long? and anyone know where I can get the large diameter (3 / 16) which are also long? And I can use a normal drill or do I have to buy the crop say something?
I would choose eyelets are slightly longer than the thickness of the page to set in. This will allow for some crushing when they arise. Eyelets large diameter, sold Stampin 'Up! in Australia. You can find Your Own country site here if Stampin 'Up! the demonstrators in the country (drop-down menu in the upper right corner will tell you if SU! is in your country or not): Or you can http://www3.stampinup.com/au/ena/ find some of his art and hobby shop. A vintage-set eyelets say fine, but if you just want to do a project and will use it again after that, and can not buy a small eyelet trim kit. Here's a page that shows how to set eyelets with a small hammer and Eyelet Setting tools, and a carpet Craft: http://impressrubberstamps.com/ideas/project_eyelets.html To see how a crop-to-Say, here's some information that may help: http://www.papercraftcentral.com/crop-a-dile.html You can also buy paper hole reinforcements of stationery, if you prefer to use, are usually sticky and and does not require any tools to 'install' them. You can even Make Your own with a drilling tool and a blow small circle, then just paste in place. HTH
