Why are paper cuts so painful?

Why so painful papercuts? I just cut it with a paper, and it really hurts, it hurts me I cut a lot of myself with a knife or anything else, why?

The paper is a mineral crystal (usually kaolin). When you cut yourself with paper, a small amount of ore remaining in the wound. Because the cuts are very thin paper, begin to heal almost immediately. The presence of foreign bodies in the wound, as it tries to heal hurts. (It is harmless but painful) If you cut the paper, wash thoroughly with cold running water. Will be less painful and heal faster.
