Diamond Lace

Diamond Lace
My girlfriend found a diamond ring and no one has claimed it. We really need the cash for it, what do we do?

My girlfriend found a diamond ring set at her work. She is a dancer at a club and it is diamond engagement ring with a big stone and a 18k platinum band. There is also a 14k platinum band laced with smaller stones and it appears to be in a set with the big stone ring. It appears to be worth ALOT of money. Anyways, she showed in to the manager and she put up a poster and no one has claimed it and it has been months now. We feel bad that some one lost something so precious but we have fallen into hard times and really need the cash for it. I am sure a pawn shop will rip us off and I have Not Sold much on Ebay so I am afraid no body will buy it from me because we would be charging alot for it. If we took it to a jeweler would they expect papers for it? I do not want them to think we stole it. Can rings this valuable be laser marked or something to find the owner. What is the best way to get cash fast for this ring set? Thank You.

The police may be the right thing to do. Essentially for the owner of the ring to make an insurance claim, they would need to provide proof that a police report was filed, so chances are the police may already have something on file. I wouldn’t sell it on eBay or any other site because those sites have the ability to request proof of purchase for the item to proove that its yours. You may even consider putting an ad in the paper as well in the “Lost and Found” section. Once you are able to find the owners, they may thank you with some sort of reward for your troubles.

I hope this helps!

The $310,000 Phone!

One of the most expensive bling-blings out there is certainly the VERTU Signature Cobra. It’s been around for some time in very limited quantities. The phone itself costs a third of a MILLION US Dollars, making it the most expensive phone of our time. And guess what? It’s been cloned …

And the price doesn’t actually sting like a cobra. It’s twice as more expensive than the rest of the VERTU range, but that’s expected since there are dozens of hundreds of minute crystals used in the actual snake.

Here are some photos of the original, in different combinations:

A $310,000 Mobile Phone is pretty nice?… if you have an extra 310 G’s…

What even more fascinating is that neither the VERTU website nor its independant dealers worldwide list the VERTU Signature Cobra on their price-lists. It’s so exclusive that it’s been produced in just a few unique variants. The VERTU Signature Dragon is another VERTU ‘masterpiece’ that looks like the VERTU Signature Cobra but has a diamond-laced dragon on the front and edges.

The only company online that actually has come up with the clone seems to be, again, Lux-Replica-Phones.com. The phone has just come out and the price tag is around $900, depending on the shipping and insurance fees. The only pictures that I could grab were off the actual Lux-Replica-Phones.com website, so they are watermarked, the guys over a Lux-Replica-Phones.com refused to give me clean photos, whatever, I’ll just use the ones off the website ;)

And this seems to be the only place that sells these things: VERTU Signature Cobra Replica

If anyone else finds anything cheaper online, photos, videos – let me know, I’ll be glad to host your articles right here. Mail me at timmy9ine@live.com NO SPAM PLEASE!
