Does this school supply list seems excessive?

My daughter is starting kindergarten in a few weeks and just received the list of School Supplies for the year. Some of the items listed are: 10 glue sticks, 2 bottles of glue (Elmers), 1 pair of Fiskars scissors, 4 rolls paper towels, 4 bottles of liquid hand soap, 4 bottles of hand sanitizer, 4 boxes of Kleenex tissues (large box), pencils 24, 5 folders, 5 spiral notebooks, 10 boxes of Crayola crayons (8 pack), 2 boxes of Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, 1 box of gallon Ziploc brand bags, 1 camera Disposable and a box of pencils This list seems a bit excessive to me. I know my daughter is not possible that the use of these supplies in the course of a year. Would appropriate to send 1 of each item listed and inform the teacher that I will replenish the supplies for my daughter when needed?

Yes, it seems excessive in some areas. The glue sticks are probaby all be used, as they move very quickly. Colored pencils though … 10 boxes seems a bit ridiculous. Notebooks spiral seems a bit excessive as well. I would send the glue sticks, glue, scissors, pencils, folders, Clorox wipes, Ziploc bags, and camera (And pencil box). I only send 1 roll of paper towels, 1 box of tissues, 1 bottle of hand soap, 1 bottle of hand sanitizer, and 2 notebooks spiral. I e-mail or write to the teacher and the question of the amount of the other items. Tell him you would be happy to renew supplies, but that money can be a little tight and you do not want to send a lot of extras in the beginning. In the kindergarten class of my son, all children to share the items they brought. EX: all the scissors went into a communal bath, all pencils have deposited large bags, etc.
