Ways to make Chalk Pastel and Charcoal not smudge?

I’m making a piece with Chalk Pastel, Charcoal, Ink, and some 3D pieces. I have to transport this from home to school, so I want to get this as unsmudged as possible. Do you have any suggestions?

You can get special non-smudge spray from art shops, in an aerosol container. It’s pretty pricey though, from memory. Spraying it over a few times with hairspray works just fine- be sure to spray from about 1m away or you’ll get marks from the hairspray, and wait til it dries before you move it.
