What to do with the leftovers of their development projects?

What do you do with your leftover yarn, material, etc. development of their projects? Do you make any unique things about them? I am making fleece blankets for people Seamless Christmas and I'm taking the leftovers and sew together to make a quilt.

I think I've been a pack rat from the day I was born. Never throw anything away. I can save everything, because I know I will be able to use it for something someday! Nfd ♥
